About Community Membership
Being a Community Member is a show of support for the work the ACT does and gives you the chance to influence how the Trust works. We have recently introduced a regular Community Members E-Newsletter. Members will also receive “early bird” access to any special events and activities that ACT are delivering.
Some Groups may also be able to benefit from our extra package of support called “Community HQ”. Please see below for further details.
The Community Membership fee lasts for for one year and is valid until the end of the next AGM (24th November 2026)

Individual Community Membership

This community membership is perfect for individuals who want to show their support for the work of the Aylesham Community Trust and stay connected with our initiatives. For only £1, you’ll be backing a network that empowers local groups, provides training, and strengthens our community fabric.
This is for you if you want to:
- Stay informed with our quarterly e-newsletter and get early bird access to any of our ACT-led events.
- Have a voice in how ACT develops and supports the community.
- Show your support for our work across Aylesham and the Kent Coalfields.
Group Community Membership
Join for Just £5
Designed for clubs, organisations, and community groups who want to support ACT and/or the local community.
Group Community Membership offers:
- Secure voting rights for your group at our AGM. Help to shape ACT's future.
- Access our Community HQ package, which includes access to a free meeting room space so your committee have a safe and comfortable place to plan and organise your activities, help with promoting your activities and events using our social media platforms, a postbox for your group and even one free annual hall hire worth £200 (eligibility criteria apply).
- access to a supportive network of like-minded local organisations.
