Aylesham Community Trust (ACT) is a local charity based in the rapidly growing village of Aylesham at the heart of the ex-industrial area of the Kent Coal Fields.

We are a Registered Charity and our Charitable Aims include the provision of community services and delivering access to training and employment opportunities. We generate income by renting out spaces and reinvest this money to further our charitable goals. In 2023 our Trustees agreed an ambitious programme of growth and change. Working with trusted partners our plans will help unlock new types of support and opportunities for the people of Aylesham, the surrounding areas and the wider Kent Coalfield.

Call us to learn about our newly equipped co-working space where you can a hire desk-space by the day. You can also find out if there is a business on site that might help you or browse the community clubs and groups to see if there are any activities taking place that you might enjoy.

The Old School Coffee Shop & Kitchen is now open Mon-Fri from 8.30am until 2pm (except for Tuesday 12th August 2025 when we will have to close due to a staff absence).
