Application Form for KCCF

This section verifies your organisation meets the basic requirements to apply. You’ll need to:

• Select which Kent Coalfield area your project serves
• Confirm your organisation has a signed constitution, working committee, appropriate bank account, insurance cover, and safeguarding policies in place
• Upload supporting documents: your agreed constitution, bank statement showing your organisation’s name and account details, and any relevant policies or risk assessments
• Confirm you have authority to submit the application, that your secondary contact is aware and willing to step in if needed, and that you understand the grant cannot fund costs already committed or spent
• Affirm you’ve read and understand the grant guidance and criteria

This section captures who to contact about your application and basic organisation information. You’ll need to provide:

• Main contact details: first name, last name, email address, and phone number
• Backup contact details: first name, last name, email address, and phone number (for when the main contact isn’t available)
• Your organisation’s name
• Your organisation type: constituted community group, constituted members club, registered charity, registered company/social enterprise, or other
• Additional details if you’ve selected a “registered” or “other” organisation type (such as registration numbers)

The form emphasises that all named contacts must be aware and have given permission to share their details.

This section asks you to describe your project and justify the funding you’re requesting. You’ll need to provide:

• Your project’s name
• The exact amount you’re requesting from the Kent Coalfield Community Fund, with grants of between £100 and £3,000 available.
• A detailed explanation of how you’ll spend the money, including specific items to purchase, whether this grant covers all costs or only some, and details of any other funding sources you’re using
• The end date by which you’ll have spent all the money
• Evidence of costs and/or quotes to support your expenditure plans

The form emphasises being as specific as possible about what you’re purchasing and how the funding will be used.
